Not all water is created equal.

In a recent series of lab tests on Egyptian mineral waters, it was found that many of them are contaminated with bacteria and other damaging substances. The mineral waters that passed the tests set by the WHO were those of
Nestle, Schweppes, Hayat and Safi. The lab tests were made a company in Egypt upon request by the World Health Organization.

In addition to contaminants, we now have to worry about plastic. Recent studies have shown that plastic, especially microbeads, and nano-particles of plastic have now contaminated most of our ecosystems. One of the most disturbing articles to come out recently is about bottled mineral water and the plastic particles it contains.

Our suggestion is that you invest in a five to seven stage reverse osmosis system for filtering your tap water. This will produce the purest water possible and saves the environment by not using any more plastic bottles. These systems are readily available in most of the Middle East and in Egypt.
