Cairo-Lakeland materials
Powerpoint presentations given during the weekend will be made available as downloadable pdf files. These pdf files will be password protected and you will receive the password from me. Each weekend you will receive the relevant password to open the files. For instructions on how to access these files, download the following document file for an explanation.
Almost all the weekends are recorded as mp3 files. Generally you will be given access to these files for about one month after each weekend. Instructions on how to access these files will be emailed to you.
Symposium
As part of the course work in the second year, you will be required to participate in an online case analysis program that demonstrates case-taking, case analysis, prescribing and case follow-up. This subscription can be shared with one or more people, thus reducing the monthly cost.
Therapeutics
There are a number of student generated therapeutics files available to students. These will be distributed in the same way as the pdf files and you will be able to access them each weekend.
Quick online therapeutics:
- wikipeutics - an ongoing effort to create a practitioner level therapeutics database.
- Indian therapeutics page - quite comprehensive
